Can a polytechnic diploma lead to a bachelor's degree?

It may be possible through an applicable lateral-entry or other admission route, but it is not automatic. Confirm the current rules, accepted diploma branch, marks and available seats with the relevant admission authority.

Should I choose a course because it is short or inexpensive?

Consider total cost and duration, but also check recognition, the credential awarded, practical training and whether it supports your next goal.
